Modern Art – Morricone / SPS Don Bosco / SPS Prince Orac xx, May 13, 2018

Ditana has given us another beautiful foal! With her history of producing callback foals, stallion prospects, and the Champion Hanoverian Foal on the 2017 Hanoverian Verband Canadian Tour – she has again exceeded expectations. “Modern Art” is as her name suggests – a puzzle of exquisite proportions, captivating from all angles. With her delicate dishy face, perfect legs, and long lines, she is designed for grace and distinction.

Morricone, her sire, scored 9.33 in the dressage portion of his Stallion Performance Test, earning 10s in both walk and rideability. I am delighted to see his exceptional walk in his daughter – most unusual in a youngster.

Born in the field, Momo was up and nursing, cantering and leaping, within the hour. The video below contains snippets of her at 2 hours, 1 day and 2 days old, while pictures are from birth to almost 2 months old. Her sire Morricone is also pictured.

Modern Art is certainly a candidate for dressage, and – from a distinguished, decorated damline, and a sire with the blood of Gribaldi, Rubin Royal and De Niro – she would be a valuable addition to a strong sport-horse breeding program. SOLD , to a dedicated (and delighted) dressage enthusiast from Ontario Canada.
